Our client from Switzerland reached us with the request to develop a platform that can solve a daily need of the local communities to find and book varied services, starting from dog walking tasks to 3D design services.
The driving factor that motivated our Swiss client to reach out with their startup vision to Infinity Technologies was our experience with developing solutions from scratch for startups as well as the availability of our strong business analysts.
The client explained to our business analyst team the pain of the local community that was constantly facing the challenge of finding simple tasks performers within the Zurich area. Moreover, it’s been a challenge for Swiss people to find independent taskers for a fair price without overpaying for service companies’ costs, including advertisement, office space, etc.
We approached the request of our client with a vision to develop a digital marketplace. The marketplace that connects people who need to outsource tasks and book local services with those ready to perform the tasks.
We started from prototyping the MVP of SOSbooking for both its web platform and mobile application. Our two-sided marketplace, providing the users could be either service providers or service clients, has also an administrative panel for a third role – service companies that want to go digital and gain more clients on-the-go.
We are still supporting the service and implementing its updated versions based on the user feedback. All in one, the platform’s user journey is intuitive and backed with the idea to ease the life of both parties, be those individual service providers, service companies or their clients.
Our business analysts coped with the goal to design the system that registers and verifies service providers within a few clicks on the one side, and equips service clients with the tool to request tasks within definite timeframes and quotes easily. Service clients start with selecting the category they need, then they leave a note about when and what they need to publish their task(s) instantaneously.
After these simple steps, the system’s feed shows to its users on both sides what is requested and what offers are available. Matchmaking engine enables so-called smart feed. Within a few simple clicks task performers can answer the requests and send offers with verified quotes.

Integration with payment systems is implemented using APIs. At the first stage the cashless payment was enabled via the Stripe system. At the next stages the alternative payment methods were added: PayPal, Worldpay, Razorpay, Square and other ones corresponding to the business needs.
Our team developed a two-sided web-based platform and mobile application that allows its users to benefit from reliable access to a large pool of verified and quality rated contractors, while the latter have the possibility to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of finding immediate jobs online. The solution equips its users to enjoy all the benefits of economy-on-demand.
